Thank you for your support for the
2021 Fukushima earthquake disaster victims
We are now accepting donations for disaster relief.
At around 23:08 on 13 February 2021, an
earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale struck off the coast of Fukushima
Prefecture, with the maximum intensity of 6.0 on the Richter scale being
recorded in Miyagi and Fukushima Prefectures.
As a result of the earthquake, a large
landslide occurred at Ebisu Circuit, causing the collapse of several courses
and surrounding facilities.
The scale of damage is larger than expected and there is no prospect of recovery, so the circuit is currently closed(as of the end of February). In parallel with the investigation and preparation for restoration, we will give top priority to secondary disaster prevention measures.
We would like to thank you for all the encouragement and support you have given us at the time of the disaster.
The earthquake has affected heavy on our company, as the 2020 outbreak of the COVID-19 caused a significant drop in sales at the circuit due to the restrictions on events and outings. As it is difficult for us to make a full recovery on our own, we would like to ask for your help and support. Therefore, we would like to start accepting donations for disaster relief.
Your donation will be used for the restoration work and for future disaster prevention measures. All of us at Ebisu Circuit will do our best for earliest possible recovery. We would like to ask for your warm support.
We will make a thank-you email and a
signboard for "EBISU SUPPORTERS" after the restoration is completed,
and we will post your name on it.
